We can now provide a limited number of mounts on short-term loans. This service may be useful when a new Communication Aid or other Device is being trialled or where you need to assess the viability of a mounting system with a new user.

Mounting systems currently available for loan are:

The standard loan period will be two weeks at a charge of £40.00 ex vat (£48.00 inc vat) to cover two-way delivery costs, although an extended loan period may be possible at £10.00 ex vat (£12.00 inc vat) per 2 weeks upto a maximum of 6 weeks.

Prices shown are for UK Mainland only, excluding Highlands and offshore. For other locations please ask for a quote.
Customers will be responsible for the equipment during the loan period and will be required to cover costs of any damaged or lost components.

Once the loan period has been agreed and payment received, Mounts & More will arrange delivery of the loan items to the address provided on the agreed date. Mounts & More will also arrange collection of the items at the end of the loan period. For collection, the equipment must be re-boxed, all components checked against the packing list, and the box securely sealed and addressed. If the box is not ready when the courier arrives for collection the customer will be responsible for any additional collection costs incurred.

We will need to know the make and model of wheelchair the mount is to be attached to, where appropriate, so that the loan mount is sent out with the correct frame clamp. We will also need to know the device to be used with the mount and whether a Daessy device holder-plate is required.
